Our North Carolina Mountain cabin rentals are located right in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest on beautiful Lake Santeetlah and offer visitors a fun filled mountain vacation and tons of fun on the water! Our visitors can enjoy fun rafting adventures on rivers like the Cheoah River, the Nantahala River and the Ocoee River in addition to all of thrills and fun one can have on beautiful Lake Santeetlah.

Nantahala River rafting is only a thirty minute drive from our North Carolina mountain vacation rentals in Graham County and is one of the most popular white water rafting rivers on the east coast. The Nantahala River offers Class I, II, and III rapids and is a great river for families and other large groups to venture down. Just a bit further away from the Nantahala River are some phenomenal rafting spots on the Ocoee River, which happens to be the river where the 1996 Olympic kayaking events were held. Many that stay in our gorgeous Robbinsville NC cabins for rent spend the day enjoying one of these great white water rafting rivers!

The Cheoah River flows through Graham County NC and is a spectacular place to enjoy some class IV rafting and kayaking. The Cheoah River runs parallel to US 129 and currently is being tested by rafting professionals to ascertain whether or not commercial rafting is safe and possible on the 9 miles of rapids. If regulations and negotiations go through, the Cheoah River could become one of the best rivers for whitewater rafting in the southeastern United States.

Stay in our Robbinsville North Carolina cabin rentals in Western North Carolina and you’ll enjoy a phenomenal North Carolina Mountain Getaway. Our visitors love staying on beautiful Lake Santeetlah, surrounded by both the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forest and all of the fun things to do in the mountains!
